Investment process

A gated route from origination to exit.

Each gate has a decision question, accountable role and controlled output. Formal authorities remain subject to approved governance documents.

  1. 01

    Originate

Origination records the source, sponsor, problem and initial fit without treating an opportunity as pipeline or AUM.

  2. 02

    Screen

Investment leadership tests mandate, demand, exclusions, integrity and threshold economics before resources are committed.

  3. 03

    Diligence

Specialist workstreams test commercial, financial, technical, legal, tax, ESG and stakeholder evidence.

  4. 04

    Structure

The transaction team calibrates instrument, risk allocation, covenants, governance rights, pricing and downside protections.

  5. 05

    Decide

The proposed Investment Committee considers independent challenge, conflicts, conditions and the complete decision record.

  6. 06

    Steward & exit

Asset oversight monitors performance, valuation, covenants, outcomes and intervention through realisation or workout.

Institutional diligence

Public transparency. Controlled evidence.

Detailed documents are released only when approved, current, relevant and protected by an appropriate confidentiality and access process.

Risk, valuation and operations

Risk appetite, investment controls, valuation governance, service-provider oversight, continuity and cybersecurity.

Team and attributable experience

Named biographies and transaction evidence in controlled diligence, with prior-employer, advisory and fund experience kept distinct.

Attribution discipline

A new fund cannot borrow a track record.

Citadel Fund I, individual predecessor experience, advisory or project-development assignments and specialist-partner experience will be presented as separate evidence sets. Named transaction attribution, references and supporting records are reserved for qualified diligence and will not be represented as Citadel fund performance.
